Set 30 years from now this version of Shakespeare's classic takes a look at how events from over 2000 years ago that shook an empire could still happen today.

After a lengthy civil war with Pompey the Roman Empire is in a state of marshal law.

Unwilling to give up his hold as newly made dictator Julius Caesar's closest friends have hatched a plot against him.

Does Caesar want power or is he merely trying to rebuild the empire?

Do Brutus and the other conspirators want to restore democracy or have the power for themselves?
