Our education team specialise in teaching people the skills needed to make it as an actor.
Rather than teaching only basic level drama, which is enough to get by, we focus on engaging our students with advanced level techniques. Simplified so that even beginners can grasp them.
All of our teachers are professional, working actors who can bring their own experiences of the industry to the classroom.

- CS Lewis
Our adult acting classes are designed to run alongside the local amateur dramatic groups in Oxford. While these provide the opportunity to perform in shows there is little opportunity to learn the technical skills needed to advance as an actor.
The aim of our classes is to improve your abilities as an actor so that when opening night comes around, you are in a better position to give the best performance of your life.
Examples of skills we teach are:
- Acting Foundation
Teaching you the basic skills needed to become an actor. Although they may seem simple, it is easy to neglect the basics, so where better to start?
- Stanislavski's System
Learn the techniques created by the father of modern day acting. Simple to grasp steps towards creating believable characters.
- Shakespeare
Learn how to perform in both verse and prose from a trained Shakespearean actor.
- Audition Preparation
We teach you all the tricks and tips for getting through auditions. From relaxation techniques to calm the nerves, to choosing the right monologues to show off what you can really do.
Our goal is to help you reach the point where you can handle auditions and get the parts you deserve!
LAMDA Exams - We are qualified to teach students for LAMDA exams. Though these exams are not often taken by adults, they are still a great way to gain experience and have something to put on your CV.

Adult Acting Classes
School Workshops
Our School workshops work in conjunction with our TIE performances and are usually related to the shows, unless otherwise requested.
We do also offer the option to take just the workshop rather than the performance.
All of our teaching staff are CRB checked and our teachers have at least two years’ experience, either teaching with other companies or assisting our current teaching staff with their lessons.

LAMDA and Guildhall Exams
Our teachers offer private tuition and group sessions to prepare students for these examinations.
They look great on an acting CV, especially when auditioning for drama schools, and count towards UCAS points for those planning to apply for university.
They also offer real life acting experience. The exams are very similar to professional auditions so give young students in particular the opportunity to test skills they may not otherwise have the chance to at their age.
